  • While you can get a feel for how I work on my website, the best way to see if we might work well together is for us to meet. Contact me to schedule a free 20 minute consultation session or first session.

  • Research has shown that the quality of the therapeutic relationship is central to the effectiveness of treatment. One of the best ways to assess fit is to speak with a therapist and see if you are drawn to working with them.

    If we meet and you don’t feel like we are a fit, I am happy to refer you to someone else.

  • I generally meet with clients weekly or multiple times per week. I am happy to discuss your scheduling preferences.

  • I offer both. I have an office located in Oakland. For Telehealth, I use Simple Practice’s HIPAA compliant conferencing platform for virtual sessions.

  • Sessions are generally 50 minutes. Arrangements can be made for longer sessions if needed.

  • I am an out-of-network provider, which means that I will not bill your insurance directly.

    I can provide monthly statements for you to submit to your insurance company. Please verify with your insurance that they cover out-of-network mental health services.

  • Please call me to discuss fees, as my rates vary depending on the service. I offer a limited number of sliding scale fee slots for individuals and couples who may not otherwise be able to afford therapy. Sliding scale fees are based on household income.

    If I am unable to provide what you need, I will help you find a therapist who offers the services you are seeking.
